This is a Hybrid role in Northern New Jersey.Summary:A growing renewable energy and infrastructure company is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance team. This highly visible role will partner closely with senior leadership and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, consolidations, and multi-entity accounting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities:* Accounting Manager will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities* Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis* Supervise and mentor accounting staff and outsourced accounting resources* Perform consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statement preparation* Prepare lender, investor, and shareholder reporting packages* Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP* Manage fixed assets, construction-in-progress (CIP), depreciation, and capital project accounting* As an Accounting Manager, you will support annual audits, compliance requirements, and internal control activities* Partner with finance, operations, project management, and executive leadership teams* Drive accounting process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancementsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred* 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both* Experience managing full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes* Experience supervising staff and reviewing the work of others* Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and multi-entity accounting* Exposure to construction accounting, fixed assets, and project-based accounting environments* Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar platforms* Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with senior leadershipJob TypeContractCompensation45 - $55
