It includes system requirement analysis, application customization, and assisting with software updates. It also involves mentoring junior engineers, ensuring quality with Quality Assurance, and providing technical leadership on routine projects. The job is also responsible for conducting training for application users.Job Description5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering related fieldsExperience with at least one programming language such as Go, PythonHands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, OCIFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins,Argo CD.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, and GitOps practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferredExperience operating production Kubernetes environmentsExperience with EKS, OKE, or other managed Kubernetes servicesFamiliarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetryExperience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.Responsibilities:Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate innovative software solutions that align with business needsConducting analysis of system requirements and the customization of applications to ensure optimal functionalityAssisting with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releasesMentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and shared knowledge within the teamEngaging with Quality Assurance to verify that software meets technical specifications and delivering high-quality, reliable applicationsTroubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in software applications and systemsSynthesizing market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and enhance product offeringsConducting training sessions for operational staff to ensure effective use of internally developed applicationsConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
